A TRUE PILOT’S WATCH
Breitling’s history has long been intertwined with that of flight. In the 1950s, the brand introduced a novel flight instrument – the wearable Ref. 765 AVI. This pioneering pilot’s watch provided the foundations for today’s Classic AVI collection, inspired by the rugged spirit of early aircraft.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk first flew in 1938, quickly proving itself as a master of agility, with a robust structure that could tolerate harsh weather conditions and even mid-air collisions. With its defiant shark-mouth nose art, it earned a reputation as the rebel of the skies.
The Classic AVI Tribute to Vought F4U Corsair honours the legendary aircraft.
THE REBEL OF THE SKIES
Housed in a 42mm stainless steel case, the military green dial is enhanced by three chronograph sub-dials, large, highly legible Arabic numerals, and a red-tipped seconds hand.
The knurled bezel provides optimum grip, even in a pilot’s gloved hands, while the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 23 movement delivers incredible precision and a power reserve of 48 hours.
A stainless steel bracelet completes the elegant aesthetic.
