IN SEARCH OF HARMONY
Created in 2007, the Ballon Bleu de Cartier rapidly became a Cartier icon.
Inspired by a new vision of roundness, the shape strikes the perfect balance between line and volume. Set with a blue sapphire cabochon, the perfectly integrated winding crown gives the illusion of a floating blue balloon, resulting in the name Ballon Bleu.
A NEW VISION OF ROUNDNESS
Characterised by its fluid lines and distinct round shape, this 36mm model is encased in steel and secured with an interchangeable steel bracelet.
Framed by a bezel set with 54 diamonds totalling 0.78 carats, the sunray grey dial is truly radiant. A further 21 diamonds radiate out from the centre, complimenting the dial’s ray-like pattern, while the Maison’s iconic blued-steel sword-shaped hands add a familiar sense of luxury.
Powered with precision by a self-winding mechanical movement, this elegant watch benefits from a 37-hour power reserve and water resistance to 3 bar (30 metres).
